R. I. P. Phil

My boyfriend(Rob-Deviant Name "TheCrimsonMuffin") of almost 3 years' Uncle Phil was hit by a train and killed on November 3rd.
He was walking home and the tracks were lit up and there were train noises all around so he didn't even see it coming.
Phil was one of the most genuinely nice people that I've ever met in my entire life. He'd had problems with drugs in the past, but he had just started to make a turnaround and fix his life. He'd just reunited with his first daughter, Ashleigh after not seeing her since she was 2 (she's now 20).
Phil was someone that I was used to seeing everyday. He was so friendly. He was healthy, strong, lively, funny, and an all around people person. When the Detectives had come to the house to tell us what happened they had only said that he was hit by a train at first. Then they paused and said that his injuries killed him instantly.At first we thought that he was only in the hospital or something-he was the type of person who WE EXPECTED TO GET HIT BY A TRAIN AND BE OK.
After I had already started going out with Rob we found out that Phil and my Mom were friends since High School.He was the same age as her-37.
The last time I saw him was on Halloween with my Mom and Ashleigh at a haunted house. Phil was being himself, messing with the people working at the house and trying to help a crying little boy not to be afraid.
He made me feel like part of Rob's family.He made me laugh.He was a good man.
He will be missed by many and forgotten by no one.
R.I.P. Phillip Ray Crawhorn.
